| Dance Marathon is a 32 hour fund-raiser held in the spring semester. All benefits raised go to the Children's Miracle Network. Bowling Green State University has done this event the last 6 years and raised over $274,000 in 2001. Phi Kappa Tau raised the most money of all fraternities ($18,000+), had the most money raised by an individual (Kevin Sidon $4,000+), and won the Gold Cup for the fourth of six times. As a fraternity we take great pride in helping the kids. |

Mom's Weekend: Mom's Weekend is an annual event held to honor the Mothers of Phi Kappa Tau and to recognize the most outstanding gentlemen by presenting eleven different awards for various accomplishments. The night starts with a formal dinner followed by an evening of dancing and socializing, which was held at Kaufmann's Lounge this year. |
| Formal: Formal was held on February 9th this year in Windsor, Ontario. We reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton, right on the Canadian-United States border, and enjoyed a formal dinner, music, and dancing. After Formal was over, many Phi Taus headed to Casino Windsor or to various clubs to continue the celebration. Formal 2002 was a great time for all who attended and was an event that Phi Kappa Tau members will not soon forget. |

Paint the Rock: Each semester the
Associate Member class paints a rock located on the Bowling Green State University's campus.
This has been a fraternity tradition since the late 70's. Every year the
Associate Members decide to have a paint war with each other and it is always a great time
to watch. Pictured to the left is the 2000 Spring Pledge class. |
Intramural Sports: Intramurals are a great time for all members of Phi Kappa Tau. The entire chapter gets involved when its time to suit up and play a game. Even members that choose not to play are in attendance to support the players. In 1998-1999 Phi Kappa Tau won the All Sports Trophy for accumulating the most points during the intramural season. It was the first time in our chapters 50 year history. Every member was very interested in all of the sports and supported the teams to victory. We would like to thank all of the members that played in these various sports and we would like to thank all of the active members and fans for supporting us during our championship year. |
Stag Weekend: Stag Weekend is an alumni/active event held in the Spring semester. Many alumni consider this event a great reason to return to their alma-mater. We have various forms of entertainment and then a huge social gathering afterwards. This exciting night has many perks and some of the best times are looking at the hilarious pictures long after the event is over. If you are thinking of join a fraternity, this one weekend is almost reason enough. |
