What's New in the House?
This semester we welcomed our new exec board, Bryan Roberts - President, Ed Twardzik - Vice President, Greg Fisher - VP Alumni Relations, Mike Romanello - Treasurer, AJ Sprenger - Secretary, Marc Kudley - VP Scholarship, Milan Bogdanavic - House Manager, and Brian Kruse - Rush. The house GPA is 2.707, just below the men's average. We have been working hard to keep our grades up.
Fall Recruitment
Last semester's pledge class was great. We had 17 well rounded men pledge. Phi Tau is currently one of the largest fraternities on campus. We look forward to Spring Recruitment and hope to gain some new quality members to keep our chapter strong.
Athletics
Last year, we won the All-Sports trophy. We hope to accomplish the same thing this year. Right now we are a close second, but we are making a huge comeback.
Dance Marathon & Philanthropies
At the beginning of this year, a bunch of guys volunteered to work at Cedar Poin Amusement Park. All the prceeds went to our national philanthropy. John Seitz did a great job to organize this and we raised nearly $1,000!
Once again, Phi Tau is strongly participating in raising money for BGSU's Dance Marathon. All proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network, helping disabled children. This year, we will have 8 dancers and will hopflly raise more money than we ever did in the past. If you are interested in donating, please contact Greg Fisher. Currently, we are behind our rivals, the Sig Eps for donations, so if you coud even give five dollars it would be greatly appreciated! The website developer is currently researching ways so that in the future it will be possible to make credit card donations over the internet!
Our 50th Anniversary
